What is FIRST in Motion?

The 2026 FIRST in Motion Maryland Robotics Showcase is an event where FIRST teams (FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge) from all over Maryland join together and discuss all things robotics! This event is designed for people of all ages to both show and experience the STEM of the youth. It event will provide an interactive platform between experienced participants and newer participants can communicate and learn from eachother. We will be having demonstrations on the fundamentals of FLL and FTC as well as share experience, knowledge, and tips throughout the meetings.

Mission Statement

The mission of this event is to help everybody understand on a deeper level about FIRST, STEM, and the youth of robotics, whether you compete in FLL or FTC, or if you were a person who was spectating the event.

Not only does this showcase skills but this event will also ultimately help FLL and FTC teams prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 BIOGLOW and BIOBUZZ Season!

Join us on November 14th at Miller Branch Library to participate in robot demos, workshops, scrimmages, and a Q&A session. Please complete this application form if you are a FIRST team that is interested in attending this event. Further details are provided in the sign up form. Otherwise show up and have some fun!
